Life in PR

We made it safe and sound to Puerto Rico after two long flights. We are living in Guaynabo in the guest house of our Puerto Rican family, Cristy and Jorge. Their family adopted us last time we lived here in 2009/2010.  We have missed the Morales and Rodriguez families and we're so happy to reunited with them. Plus Cristy has chickens, rabbits, fish, and turtles at her house. Basically it's Cash favorite place ever. Guaynabo is much closer to San Juan, church, Costco, the biggest mall, and metropolitan life. That makes me very happy. We used to have to travel at least an hour to go anywhere when we lived in Vega Baja. Now we are out and about all the time. It is driving Casey crazy that I want explore the island every day, but I don't want to miss any opportunities for family adventures. We're making memories people.

Our life here has been idyllic so far. Every day we either go to the beach or swim in our pool. It's so hot and humid here that this is not only fun, but also just a break from the heat. Then we take a trip to any place that's air-conditioned. Usually Costco, Plaza Las Americas (the biggest mall on the island), K-mart, or any store/restaurant that we find along the way. Followed by nap time for all. It's a pretty simple life, but my favorite one because we spend all day together as a family. Casey goes to practice at night and we go to the games with him on the weekends. And the rest of the time is left for fun-filled day trips.

Are you having fun Cash?
